Elaborate plans are made by lovers to celebrate Valentine’s Day festival in the much-popularized romantic fashion. For some lovers the day begins by whispering ‘I love you’ in the ears of beloved. The romantic gesture is usually accompanied with an exchange of red roses, chocolates, cards and other gifts.
Most lovers plan to spend the entire day in the company of their beloved and celebrate being in love. All around the city, be it parks, mall, restaurants or discotheques one can find couples celebrating the idea of being in love.

In the beginning, cupcakes were sometimes called “number” cakes, because they were easy to remember by the measurements of ingredients it took to create them:
One cup of butter, two cups of sugar, three cups of flour, four eggs, one cup of milk, and one spoonful of soda.
Clearly, cupcakes today have expaned to a wide variety of ingredients, measurements, shapes, and decorations – but this was one of the first recipes for making what we know today as cupcakes.
Make a delicious cupcake for a birthday to celebrate, and a pretty Cupcake Box along with it.

The cat was seen as a sacred animial in ancient Eqypt, and the history of domestic cats dates back to as early as 8000 years. Ancient Egyptians shaved their eyebrows in mourning when their cats died. And if someone killed a cat, he or she could get the death penalty.
Cats are some of the smartest animals and can interpret a human’s mood and feelings.
You might think it’s disgusting when your cat brings you dead prey (like a bird or mouse), but you should thank her anyway. She thinks that she’s bringing you a present. Our cats don’t think of themselves as small humans. Rather, they think of us as large cats.
A sweet Cat Box is a nice present for any cat lovers. It is very simple to create, just check out the printable template over here:

Pigs are very intelligent and learn quickly. They pick up tricks faster than dogs. Pigs rank #4 in animal intelligence behind chimpanzees, dolphins and elephants. Piglets learn their names by two to three weeks of age and respond when called.
Pigs are very social animals. They form close bonds with each other and other species. Pigs enjoy close contact and will lie close together when resting. They use their grunts to communicate with each other.
Pigs are much more tolerant of cold than heat. Pigs have no sweat glands, so they can’t sweat. They roll around in the mud to cool their skin. The layer of dried mud protects their skin from the sun.

The giant panda is listed as endangered in the World Conservation Union’s Red List of Threatened Species. There are about 1,600 left in the wild. More than 300 pandas live in zoos and breeding centers around the world, mostly in China.
A wild giant panda’s diet is almost exclusively (99 percent) bamboo.
To make up for the inefficient digestion, a panda needs to consume a comparatively large amount of food — from 20 to 40 pounds of bamboo each day — to get all its nutrients. To obtain this much food means that a panda must spend 10 to 16 hours a day foraging and eating. The rest of its time is spent mostly sleeping and resting.

The origins of the word “monkey” are unclear. It could come from Moneke, the name of the son of Martin the Ape in a medieval animal story. It appears also to be related to manikin, from the Dutch manneken (“little man”).
Monkeys use vocalizations, facial expressions, and body movements to communicate.
The Pygmy Marmoset is the world’s smallest monkey. It measures 117-159 millimeters (four and a half to six inches) in length and weighs 85 to 140 grams (three to five ounces).
The male Mandrill is the largest monkey. It is almost 1 meter (3.3 feet) long and weighs about 35 kilograms (77 pounds).

Frogs have been associated with weather in a lot of ancient cultures. I guess this really makes a lot of sense if you consider that they tend to make a lot of noise before rain storms.
Some Australian aborigines and Native American groups believed that frogs were the bringers of rain.
In India, frogs were believed to personify thunder in the sky. Even the word for “frog” also meant “cloud” in Sanskrit!
Some cultures associated frogs with fortune. As in Japan, frogs are the symbols of Good Luck. One myth dealt with the idea that bullfrogs are descended from a great ancestor who could suck all the mosquitoes out of a whole room in a single breath!

Bears are curious, intelligent and potentially dangerous animals, but undue fear of bears can endanger both bears and people. Many bears are killed each year by people who are afraid of them.
Most bears tend to avoid people. In most cases, if you give a bear the opportunity to do the right thing, it will. Contrary to popular belief, bears can see almost as well as people, but trust their noses much more than their eyes and ears.
During the winter when bears go into a deep sleep, their body temperature does not drop significantly. For this reason, many scientists do not classify this state as true hibernation but instead refer to it as winter sleep or winter lethargy.

Gift bags are a great way to wrap presents.
They are also useful for small gifts or for handing out goody bags at a party.
If you can’t find the perfect gift bag design in a store, or you want a fun craft for kids, you can print and assemble your own gift bags using a template.
Some templates incorporate colors, designs or holiday themes, while others provide only the guidelines for folding the gift bag itself.
Print templates with designs on plain white paper, or print blank templates on patterned scrapbooking paper.
For example see a cute template here:
To make your gift bag, the only equipment you’ll need is:
- A printer
- Some nice paper/card to print onto. Thin card with a decorative pattern is ideal, but wrapping paper cut to US letter or A4 size will also do just fine
- Scissors or a craft knife
- Glue or double sided tape
Fill your ready gift bag with 365+1
MESSAGES, FAMILY QUOTES AND POEMS ABOUT LIFE.

The recipient should read only one of these 365+1 messages each day. This is how your unique gift will be valued throughout the whole year!

Do you know how Teddy bear got its name?
In November 1902 Theodore ‘Teddy’ Roosevelt, 26th President of the United States, was hunting in Mississippi.
He failed to make a kill so his hosts caught and tethered a bear, presenting it to the President as a sitting target.
Naturally the President refused, uttering the immortal words, ‘Spare the bear! I will not shoot a tethered animal.’
Clifford Berryman drew a cartoon of the scene, which was published in the Washington Post.
That same month Brooklyn shopkeepers Morris and Rose Michtom made a soft bear toy, which they named ‘Teddy’s Bear’ and displayed in their window with a copy of the cartoon.
Making a Teddy Bear Treat Bag is easy. All you need are:
- Tape or glue
- Sandwich bag
