On April 22, 1970, 20 million people demonstrated across the US, calling for a healthy and sustainable environment.
There were rallies on college and university campuses coast-to-coast.
People joined together to fight against a wide variety of issues including pollution, toxic dumps, oil spills, habitat destruction, power plants, and other issues that were causing visible harm to the environment.
These days people are trying to be more earth conscious but one major problem that many come up against during the holidays is how to wrap gifts in an eco-friendly manner.
If you want to be eco-friendly you definitely don’t want to contribute to that huge pile of gift wrap that ends up in landfills. So what do you do?
